فعالیت: موقعیت هایی را پیدا کنید که شما را در کانون توجه قرار دهد.
وقتی با کودک خود بازی می کنید یا مراقب او هستید شروع به قرار گرفتن در موقعیتی کنید که کودک شما دید واضحی از چهره و چشم های شما داشته باشد به همان نسبت سعی کنید نزدیک و رودرروی فرزند خود باشید مخصوصا در طی فعالیت هایی که فرصت توجه او به شما و بازی را فراهم می کند.
در این جا چند ایده برای موقعیت یابی خود و فرزندتان برای یادگیری بهتر آورده شده است.
- موقع غذا خوردن سینی را طوری قرار دهید که شما و کودکتان روبروی هم باشید.
- وقتی غذا به او می دهید کم کم بدهید به نحوی که ابتدا کمی غذا بدهید و سپس منتظر پیامی برای دریافت غذای بیشتر از طرف او بمانید و بعد از دیدن یا شنیدن چنین پیامی به سرعت به غذا دادن ادامه دهید. این نوعی ارتباط خیلی مهم است.
- شما یک لقمه به کودک خود بدهید و سپس از او بخواهید به شما یک لقمه بدهد (با دهان باز به سمت او متمایل شوید).
- فنجان کودک خود را روی میز و دور از دسترس او قرار دهید ولی به نحوی که در دید او باشد و تا زمانی که به آن اشاره نکرده به او مایعات ندهید یا این که اگر دادید مقدار کمی بدهید تا او پیامی مبنی بر نیاز بیشتر به شما بدهد.
- با تمام شدن غذا از آهنگ یا حرکت انگشت برای این که نشان دهید وقت غذا خوردن تمام شد استفاده کنید. سعی کنید این کار را خیلی جذاب و با گفتن تمام شد پایان دهید.
